We are TEN YEARS in to our Sustainable & Slow fashion Project from February 2012  we wanted to have a positive impact on the modern day throw away society

We owned 2 dry cleaners and sold them in 2012 as we wanted to have family work / life balance as we were working 80 + hours and wanted to have an impact on the slow fashion and been able give back to our employees

So we did extensive research with all the major brands on what they services they were able to do and the services they couldn’t do, There are lots of bespoke services some of the major brands were not willing to do. We have a massive passion for sustainability and slow fashion its what we need to educate and re-educate our kids and the next generation

At The Wax Jacket Cleaning Company, we always provide the highest level of customer service we specialize in all   cleaning, re waxing and all repair and reproofing wax cotton garment.   We are a family business we started from a large garage at the bottom of our garden after we sold our dry-cleaning business then we progressed to our small workshop we were there until 2016 now we at our own purpose-built industrial unit meaning we all under one roof we have 8 cleaning stations 4 heated tables for us re waxing 6 industrial sewing machine tables 2 specialist leather sewing machines

The cleaning & re waxing of wax cotton garments has been long time said that’s it’s impossible, but our cleaning is always done by hand and we have  successfully combined  traditional and proven methods with new techniques this in conjunction the bio-gradable wax was developed  so we can restore your favourite jacket back to how it should be whilst promoting the slow fashion and sustainability and re calling some of the great work our past generations had with the make do and mend ,but we also do love keeping updated with new fabrics and there cleaning methods making sure we are giving your jacket the longevity and functionality it needs
